One Stop Property Maintenance is looking for motivated team players for facility maintenance work in and around Wayne County. As a field operator you will be responsible for maintaining assigned grounds using commercial landscaping, and or power washing equipment as needed. You will perform various manual tasks in the maintenance and repair of turf areas and parking lots.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Cut turf using various sized power mowers, trimmers, edgers, and gas-powered blowers
•Properly and safely prune shrubs and low trees as needed
•Pick up trash and blow leaves and other organic debris
•Perform weeding by hand or using tools
•Plant and maintain flower beds
•Maintain a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with guests and customers
•Properly and safely operate power washer on flat surfaces and walls
•Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS: You must be able to stand, walk for extended periods of time and work with your hands. Have the ability to lift up to 60 pounds on a daily basis. Have the ability to bend, twist, and squat on a daily basis. You must be able to work outdoors all year round for extended periods of time. Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.

Preferred education: High school or equivalent
1 year commercial maintenance experience preferred (Willing to train)
Valid Michigan Driver’s License Preferred
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
